2-3/8 Base/Post

  • Die cast base has 9.6% more aluminum by weight with more reinforcing ribs and thicker walls making it heavier duty.
  • Base is silver powder coated vs. clear coated bases for better corrosion protection.
  • Base bushing has a center support to keep the opening from being a toe stabber.
  • The bushing is chamfered, but the bushing has an outside diameter that protects when the end of the post is plugged in, preventing the star of corrosion.
  • 9” base has a unique machine bushing for reduced movement, and increased stability.
  • Post is keyed to prevent rotation over a detent post.

Swivel

  • The tension knob presses the bushing into the post vs the competitor’s aluminum swivel that will compress the collar. This provides a more solid feel.
