The new single piece design eliminates the need to weld on a nut. This allows for a tighter tolerance delivering less wobble of the seat. The below deck portion is stainless steel no matter the above deck option you chose.
Interrupted thread design allows post to swivel freely with no weight on threads, allows water to pass freely. It also will not accidently unthread while swiveling.
